We are artists, photographers, film-makers, and urbanists running accessible creative workshops

About us

Focusing on contemporary and historic urban spaces, our practices are wide-ranging, incorporating film-based photography and film-making, sound, installation, zine and book arts, along with other forms of creative expression. Our work is informed by ‘critical urbanism’ as a multifaceted approach to theoretical, research and grounded art practice, and as such, we are actively committed to encouraging the development of the analogue domain.

Much of our work also involves the exploration of ‘hybrid’ approaches to digital media, as its many and varied forms offer meaningful resources to those working primarily within analogue production cultures. We are not ‘purist’ in our creative practices, and actively encourage those attending our workshops, seminars and public events to embrace the intersections and affordances offered by digital media to those working primarily with analogue technologies.

After many years of running workshops, international conferences, university and art school degree programmes; we have put together an exciting and accessible programme for those wishing to dive deeper into analogue practices, and who are interested in networking with others that share their passion for making, researching, walking and talking, and being part of a wider interdisciplinary conversation about the nature of the analogue world.
