Members’ Event - Artist Talk by Rut Blees Luxemburg: Urban Night Photography
How does an internationally acclaimed artist and urbanist approach photographing landscapes at night? This talk and discussion with Rut Blees Luxemburg will raise more questions than answers when thinking about what urban nights look like, smell like, feel like. This artist’s talk will be particularly relevant for fine art and landscape photographers who are interested in exploring urban night photography further. Rut will explain how and why she works primarily with 5x4 field camera, and those attending her talk are encouraged to think about how they might develop an urban night project wherever they are, and with whatever cameras they have access to.
